Terms and Conditions for the Instagram Giveaway

1. Participation Period
The giveaway runs from 09/18/2026, 7:00 PM until 10/01/2026, 11:59 PM. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.
2. Eligibility
Participation is open to natural persons aged 18 and over who are residents of Germany.
3. Conditions of Participation
To participate, the participant must:
- follow the Instagram account @shwasy.lampshades,
- like the giveaway post,
- share the post in their own Instagram story,
- comment on the post stating which lampshade they would like, and tag two other people.
Only one entry per person and Instagram account will be considered. Multiple comments or tags do not increase the chances of winning. Participation is free of charge and not tied to the purchase of any goods or services.
4. Prize
1 of 3 lampshades will be given away. Cash payment of the prize is excluded. The judge's decision is final.
5. Prize Determination and Notification
The winners will be determined at random after the participation period has ended. Notification will take place by 10/04/2026 at the latest, exclusively via direct message from the Instagram account @shwasy.lampshades. If a winner does not respond within [e.g., 7 days] of notification, the claim to the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be determined.
6. Exclusion from Participation
The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation if they violate these terms and conditions, use unfair means (e.g., through fake accounts or automated processes), or provide false information.
7. Notice Regarding Fake Accounts
The organizer contacts winners exclusively via the official Instagram account @shwasy.lampshades. Payment, bank details, or registration via third-party links will never be requested. Messages from other accounts posing as prize notifications do not originate from the organizer.
8. Data Protection
The following data will be processed as part of the giveaway: Instagram username and information voluntarily shared in the comment or direct message (e.g., desired lampshade, shipping address for prize delivery). Data processing is carried out exclusively for the implementation and execution of the giveaway based on Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR. The data will be deleted after the giveaway processing is complete, provided there are no legal retention obligations to the contrary. Further information on data protection can be found in the privacy policy of shwasy.de.
9. Independence from Meta/Instagram
This giveaway has no connection to Instagram or Meta and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram or Meta. The sole point of contact for all questions regarding the giveaway is the organizer.
10. Modification and Termination of the Giveaway
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice if there is an important reason (e.g., technical problems, attempts at manipulation).
11. Final Provisions
German law applies. Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
